Which Models Support Precise Measurement?

Precise measurement is offered with  Surface to Surface Measurement . Usually, when you see feature edges on a model, it's a pretty good indication that measurement will be precise instead of approximate. Only models with BREP information or BREP information and tessellation support precise measurements. Precise measurement will not work if the model contains only tessellated data.

The following table gives you an idea of which file types offer precise measurement by indicating if the model contains BREP, tessellation, or both BREP and tessellation information.
